Do you still remember,
On this lawn,
Beside the silent river,
We sat and looked,
Into the future together?
Do you still remember,
Above us,
The sky,
Sheltering us with its beauty,
And the satiny grass,
Stretching widely like green carpets,
Under us ?
Do you still remember,
The rays of sunlight,
Peeping through the branches,
Offering their shady beams?
Do you still remember,
When the wind flowed by,
We could hear,
The flowers whispering,
The leaves sighing softly,
Around us.
We could see birds on wings,
And in the river,
The fishes jumping gracefully ?
Do you still remember,
On this very lawn,
We betrayed the calm neighbouring,
We erased the flames,
We broke the chain,
And we parted,
With drenched hearts,
And misty prides?
